Hands on treatment and social distancing??

social distancing.JPG

We have very high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at the Montague Clinic anyway but introduced additional measures of regular and frequent disinfection of all contact areas in the clinic recently. But how
about our latest directive of social distancing? Is it really possible to keep both our patients and clinicians safe during clinic operation? And will the ‘personal’ aspect of hands on treatment and your visit to our clinic have far reaching effects on the wider community with regards to virus spread? The solution would be to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) arguably by both the patient and the clinician. We all hear about a lack of available PPE in the news every day...

The British Chiropractic Association advised its members on 24/3/20 to cease all face to face appointments. The Prime Minister has instructed the nation to keep a 2 meter distance to people and eventually to stay at home. It is therefore that we have changed the way we operate and are ready
for phone/video consultations for any of our patients that need us! We run this service free of charge until Easter for existing patients only (T&C apply). The clinic doors will be closed until after Easter. We keep monitoring the evolving situation and will tell you about any changes.
